Applications and examples -
3D presentation in the internet

To build up good-looking three-dimensional web pages for applications like 3D-WWW-catalogues for example, the 3D representation of real objects has to be as realistic as possible. To achieve a photorealistic appearance of the objects, not only the geometry but also the texture of the object has to be displayed. Sometimes the reflection properties of the surface and an appropiate object environment are necessary, too. With QTSculptor it is possible to digitize both the geometry and the texture of the objects to guarantee a photorealistic 3D appearance.
